100 Proverbs I Grew Up With

I had a love for figurative expressions from childhood. Why, my fifth grade teacher made a job of appending her notes with a proverb or two. Proverbs like "Make hay while the sun shines," "A stitch in time saves nine," "Nothing venture, nothing win." were the staple of her lessons. I enjoyed every one of them and I never lost my passion for the stuff.
