Have
you ever wondered why, every time you chance on the letter X on a platform besides a board
displaying the English alphabet, you
fasten your mental safety belt even without deliberate intent to do it?
The
main character in this story explains through monologue, the value of x within and outside the walls of a
classroom to his son who is visiting at his house. From the x inscribed on light poles to movies
like the X-Files to the customized x
on Lovecraft’s grimoire, the legendary Necronomicon,
you might very well be tempted to pluck the x out of your name after
reading this story.
