Today’s Prompt:
What if you’re going to write a story about self-expression with a cab driver as the main character and a fire escape as the key object? Set your story in a funeral home.

A cabbie and a Private Investigator play their parts well and set the ball rolling in a story that mixes humor with a little danger.

After a fire outbreak razes down an apartment building, th insurance company brings in a PI to investigate the incident. He meets with a cabbie (the only witness) in a funeral home and there is a modest clash of class.
